How do you connect HP laptops to WiFi?
There are 3 options you have depending on your HP laptop model:

Option 3 – Press the ‘FN’ button and ‘F5’ button at the same time.
Once you’ve selected your option, follow these instructions:
- At the bottom right of your screen, usually just to the left of your ‘sound’ icon, select the ‘wireless signal strength’ icon.
- Once the window pops up, select the WiFi network you are looking to connect to.
- If your network is password protected, you will now be prompted to enter your password. Once the password has been entered, click ‘OK’.
That’s it. Your HP laptop should now be connected to your wireless network.

How do you disable/enable touchpad on HP laptops?
There are a few options to disable or enable the touchpad on your HP laptop:
Option 1 – On most HP laptops, you will find an on/off button or switch located in the vicinity of the touchpad. Press or toggle this button to turn on or off your touchpad.
Option 2 – If you cannot find the on/off button near the touchpad, press and hold the top-left portion of your touchpad for 5 seconds. This should disable the touchpad functionality. To turn it back on, follow the same instructions.
Warning: This option is only recommended if you are looking to permanently, not temporarily, remove the touchpad functionality.
Option 3 – You can also uninstall your touchpad drivers through the software on your HP laptop. To do this, select the Windows ‘Start’ button on the bottom left of your screen.
