During its annual Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung announced its new Galaxy Note 10, giving hopeful Samsung devotees a new device to look forward to after the Galaxy Fold’s flop and comeback.

“From the very beginning, the Galaxy Note has stood for the best-of-the-best technologies and features. The Galaxy Note10 re-imagines this promise for the modern Note fan who uses their smartphone to take their productivity and creativity to the next level, and who effortlessly flows between ideas and endeavors at a moment’s notice,” said DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics. “Every element of the Galaxy Note10 was designed to help users achieve more. Whether they’re finishing a big project for work, capturing and editing a video, or playing their favorite mobile game, the Galaxy Note10 will help them do it faster and better.”

The Note 10 comes in two sizes, for the first time and is compatible with the new S Pen. The screen sizes consumers can choose are 6.3 inch or 6.8 inch. The new device has what Samsung calls an “edge-to-edge design” with a “nearly bezel-less” display. Another feature of the display includes what Samsung touts as its “best quality display” with its Dynamic AMOLED.

“With HDR10+ certification and Dynamic Tone Mapping, photos and videos are brighter than previous Note devices, and feature a stunning, wide color range,” Samsung stated in a release. “UL verified1the Galaxy Note10 display for its 98 percent color and brightness uniformity. The Eye Comfort display reduces blue light without affecting color quality for comfortable viewing.”

The camera also touts pro-level video quality, depth of field adjustments, zoom in mic to focus sounds, stabilized video and hyperlapse time-lapse mode. Samsung also suggests that the Galaxy Note10 will offer quick and easy video editing right from the phone, a screen recording function, AR Doodle and 3D Scanner, as well as a night mode option on the front camera. The rear camera has a tripe lense with an ultra-wide, wide-angle and telephoto option. The larger phone has a quad camera, touting an ultra-wide, wide-angle, telephoto and depth vision camera. The phone also comes with several memory options: the smaller version has 8GB of ram with 256 GB of internal storage or 12GB with 256 B internal storage for the 5G option. The larger phone offers 12GB of ram with 256 or 512GB of internal storage.

Additionally, Samsung states the phone offers super-fast charging in that a 30-minute charge can last all day as well as the ability to recharge other Galaxy devices with their phone.
