Deal Review: Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset
Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset Review
Great gaming requires great audio: there’s just no two ways about it. Sure, you can rely on the speakers from your TV, but even if you have really nice speakers, we all know it’s not as immersive as a good pair of headphones. The Logitech G355 happens to be such a pair, for a variety of reasons. We’re not saying it’s the best pair of headphones in the universe, but if you want a good balance between price and functionality, it’s definitely a very good choice.
First off, we should mention the compatibility of this product. It’s designed to work with Windows 10, 8.1, Windows 7, or Mac OS X 10.11 and later. Basically, it’s compatible with the firmware that most computers are currently using or can currently update to, so there’s little need to worry about whether or not it will work with your device. Naturally, being wireless helps keep clutter down while you’re at it.
But what about sound? That’s the most important aspect to consider, after all. Well, the DTS 7.1 positional surround sound ensures that you get top quality audio fidelity, matching the sounds in the game to the letter. Things happening on the right will be heard from the right, and from the left, the left. Aside from hearing these sounds from the proper in-game positions, rest assured the quality of those sounds is top-notch as well: thanks to the hybrid mesh Pro-G drivers, you get the deepest bass booms and the clearest high notes possible.
Of course, there are other features to consider. As mentioned previously, it is wireless, but that means it has a battery life to take note of. Normally one could consider this a con, but with a rechargeable battery life of up to approximately 15 hours, it’s not really a relevant concern. Needless to say, 15 hours a charge is generally more than enough for any one gaming session.
For convenience, this headset has many buttons in easily accessible places. For instance, the volume and mute controls are directly on the ear, making them easy to adjust and use in the moment, without compromising whatever you’re doing on the game at the time.
Finally, the actual comfort level of the headset is worth mentioning. The entire product is very durable, yet also quite lightweight, thanks to the usage of cutting-edge materials and manufacturing techniques. Naturally, the headband is adjustable, and the earmuffs are designed to be as comfortable as possible, even when they are being worn for long gaming sessions. The mic is adjustable to various positions for your convenience.
For all of this, the price is approximately $80. This admittedly sounds like a lot, but for the audio quality provided, it’s one of the best deals available at such a price range. It’s a decently hefty investment, but you are paying for a top-quality product. At the end of the day, it’s a great choice for anyone that wants to get their money’s worth.
Deal Review: DualSense Wireless Controller
DualSense Wireless Controller Review
With brand new generations of consoles soon coming to stores near you, so too are new controllers becoming available. For PlayStation, the newest iteration of their classic and iconic controller is the DualSense controller, priced at approximately $70. Naturally, this controller isn’t available to actually buy just yet, seeing as how it is the new controller for the PlayStation 5, which doesn’t release until November. Of course, if you just want to go ahead and pre-order one so it’s ready to go when you get your hands on the new console, you can.
Should you though? Technically, you don’t have to own a DualSense controller to play the PlayStation 5, as it will work with PlayStation 5 DualShock controllers as well. So, if your only interest in a DualSense controller was being able to play the PlayStation 5, then no, you don’t have to get this controller. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of reason to get one anyway.
First and foremost, the DualSense controller will aesthetically match the PS5. That’s a small thing to take into consideration of course, but it’s a factor nevertheless. Some people live to match their accessories with their equipment.
As for actual features that make it worth getting, the most important one to mention is the haptic feedback system, which replaces the rumble sticks of the old PlayStation controllers. Using various types of vibrations, the haptic feedback system aims to add a physical element to the gaming experience, simulating the feel of environments or the recoil of various weapons in games. Further adding to the immersive experience of gaming is the adaptive triggers: instead of a universal level of resistance, they will change according to what you are doing: pulling a bowstring will feel different from slamming on the brakes in a car.
Finally, you have a built-in microphone and headset jack. This is nothing particularly special since most controllers have a 3.5mm headphone jack already, but it’s still worth noting that the DualSense will have one as well, making it a breeze to communicate with people online. A dedicated mute button makes it easy to switch voice capture on and off as needed.
All in all, the biggest difference in the DualSense controller compared to the DualShock you may have now is the haptic feedback and the adaptive triggers, both of which add a new and immersive way to experience video games that no previous controller has managed to do. The real question for each gamer is whether or not that added experience is worth the decently expensive price tag. As said before, you don’t absolutely need a DualSense controller to play with the PlayStation 5, so if you’re just fine with the DualShock controller you have now it won’t stop you from enjoying the next generation.
However, it’s worth noting that, this being the prime feature of the next-gen PlayStation, there will probably be many games that make exclusive use of the haptic feedback systems, so you may miss out on some features in the future if you don’t have a DualSense controller.
Deal Review: Bengoo V-4 Gaming Headset
Bengoo V-4 Gaming Headset Review
If you’re an avid gamer, you need a gaming headset: there’s just no two ways about it. Sure, you can play games without hearing them, but who really wants to do that? The sounds of a game help complete the atmosphere of that game, and that makes them very important to the overall experience. That’s why any serious gamer needs a gaming headset, and in this instance, we recommend the Bengoo V-4, an affordable but high-quality choice that can be used with many platforms.
As stated above, this headset is versatile and able to be used with many platforms. This is great because you don’t have to bother hunting for a specific type of headset for your platform, and you don’t have to worry about whether or not the headset will be compatible with your platform in the first place. PC, Xbox One, PS4: whatever you have, this headset will work just fine with it. It’ll also work with mobile phones, tablets, and many other platforms.
There are many aspects of this headset that allow it to provide extremely high-quality audio. Thanks to its 40mm neodymium driver, you get amazing ambient noise, clear and crisp high notes, and wonderfully deep bass. And thanks to the acoustic positioning precision, the sensitivity of the speaker unit will give you amazing audio clarity, a crystal-clear sound field, and a punchiness to all the right notes to really draw you into the world of your game. It’s perfect for any game genre but is an especially good choice for action games like Call of Duty, Halo, or Battlefield.
Of course, a good gaming headset has to not only sound good on your end, but it has to be able to transmit your voice clearly to your teammates as well. Thankfully, this product delivers on that front as well. The integrated omnidirectional microphone has a premium noise-canceling feature that helps it drown out unwanted exterior noises and pick up your voice, even when speaking at low volumes. The long and flexible mic design makes it easy for you to position it where it is needed to work most efficiently, which is also a great boon.
Naturally, there are also ergonomics to consider: the over the ear pads are extremely comfortable, but more importantly, they are very breathable, which means you don’t have to worry about sweat and moisture over long periods of gaming as much. The multi-points head beam is designed to fit the human head as comfortably as possible, and of course, it can be adjusted as well. The headset also has LED lights on the outer earpieces to highlight ambiance.
On top of all of this, this headset is quite affordable compared to much of the competition, which is of course also greatly worth considering. Overall, it’s a great product that offers a wide variety of features, without costing an extra amount of money, making it a great choice for anyone looking to finish their gaming setup on a budget.
Deal Review: Hori Nintendo Switch Split Pad Pro Ergonomic Controller
Hori Nintendo Switch Split Pad Pro Ergonomic Controller Review
Everyone knows that one of the most notable things about the Nintendo Switch is the controllers, referred to as Joy-Cons. The way they can be removed from the Switch itself to facilitate multiple styles of play is a fantastic feature, never mind the fact that they can be used individually in co-op games, among other things. All in all, they are just exceptionally well-designed. However, as far as ergonomics are concerned, they are a tad basic. Not awful, but basic.
These Joy-Cons aid to rectify that for players who want as comfortable of a grip as possible on their Nintendo Switch. Officially licensed by Nintendo, they are essentially modified Joy-Cons with a number of unique features that the regular Joy-Cons don’t have. Most notable is their actual shape, which is much more reminiscent of console controllers like PlayStation and Xbox. The added handles provide extra grip for people worried about dropping something valuable.
Aside from these larger grips is the fact that most everything on the Joy-Cons is bigger as well. This includes the buttons, joysticks, D-pad, and triggers. Whether or not one considers this a good thing is a personal preference, but if you’ve found some irritation in the somewhat small profile of the default Joy-Con’s buttons, then you’ll probably like it.
Combined, the grips and larger size of all the buttons make for a controller experience that is closer to the full-size experience one would find in most console controllers. While this isn’t necessary, for some players used to playing with larger controllers, this can make the entire experience more fun and enjoyable. This is especially the case if you are someone that is regularly using the Switch as a console via a TV, in which case you have to use the Joy-Cons while they are removed from the Switch itself.
That said, there are still a few features to consider that are quite different from the default Joy-Con, that being the addition of entirely new buttons. First up are the programmable rear buttons, one on the back of each Joy-Con. If you are unhappy with the positioning of certain buttons you can program their functionality into these rear buttons instead, which are easily accessible while holding the controls. Second is the addition of a Turbo button, which you can use to speed up certain games.
There are some unique aesthetic designs on the controllers representing Daemon x Machina, but unless you dislike them for some reason, it has no bearing on functionality. What does, on the other hand, is the fact that these controllers do not affect the Switch’s ability to dock with the charging station that accompanies it.
The price of these modified controllers is $50, which is roughly the cost of regular Joy-Cons anyway, making them a great deal since they offer many nice features and boons that the normal Joy-Cons do not. All in all, anyone who is unhappy with regular Joy-Cons will almost certainly be satisfied with these.
Deal Review: PS4 Beexcellent Gaming Over-Ear Headset
PS4 Beexcellent Gaming Over-Ear Headset Review
A gaming headset is a crucial part of a truly excellent gaming rig. After all, a good game doesn’t just look good: it sounds good too. If you live in a loud area or simply want to be able to keep the audio of your game to yourself instead of sharing it with everyone around you, you need a good over the ear headset, and this model from Beexcellent is a great choice if your own a PS4.
Of course, one of the main reasons to have a good headset is because they offer better sound fidelity while playing: if you are a competitive gamer, hearing the footsteps of opposing players, or the sound of gunfire in a shooting game, can mean the difference between victory and defeat. This headset delivers on that front, with high power 40mm neodymium-magnet drivers making it easier to tell which direction sounds are coming from within the game. This type of audio awareness is something every pro gamer wants.
Also worth noting is the noise cancellation microphone and one key mute button. With a 120-degree range of motion for the mic, it’s easy to reach, and can easily be moved out of the way if that’s needed. The noise-canceling feature makes it easy to transmit high-quality communications, as it picks up your voice especially well while working to keep excess outside noise out.
A great deal of comfort has been put into the design of this headset as well. That comfort is achieved through a variety of features: this includes an over-ear close back design with breathable earpads, a retractable and flexible head beam, and an adjustable headband. Naturally, these all help make wearing the headphones more comfortable overall, but they also make sure they fit your head as snuggly as possible, which helps with keeping excess noise from interfering with your gaming.
This headset is also compatible with multiple platforms, so it is very versatile. Even though it is touted as a headset for PlayStation 4, it can also be used with Xbox One, laptops, and the Nintendo Switch. Smartphones and tablets are perfectly viable with the headset as well. The 5mm phone jack is what lets the headset be so versatile, and chances are it will also be compatible with the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5 when they come out in November.
Because the headset uses a headphone jack, it’s not compatible with USB ports. But that’s really the only drawback it has as far as features and mechanics are concerned. Taking that into consideration, it’s great that you only have to pay roughly $25.00 to get it. This makes it a very affordable headset while offering many features. Whether you need it specifically for a PS4 or any other game console, it’s a great choice. In fact, even though it is primarily designed for gaming, you could even use it just to listen to music in high quality, if you so desired.
Deal Review: Razer Viper Hyperspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse
Razer Viper Hyperspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse Review
If you have a dedicated PC rig for gaming, it really can’t be considered complete without a gaming mouse. Unfortunately, it can be kind of hard to determine which one to select for your needs. The Razer Viper Hyperspeed Wireless gaming mouse is a great choice, pretty much regardless of the other aspects of your computer being taken into consideration.
Admittedly, it’s a bit expensive at $150.00, but a good gaming mouse is just expensive in general, so it’s not like that price is actually extravagant compared to your average gaming mouse. Moreover, for the price you are paying, you get a lot of great features. Razer is, after all, one of the best-selling gaming peripheral manufacturers in the U.S., so they have a pretty good reputation to live up to.
The most noteworthy feature is the extremely low latency and interference reduction, both of which are crucial for a wireless mouse. This Razer variant is allegedly 25% faster than much of the competition, giving the player a great deal of free dome in how they use their wireless mouse and where it can be in regards to the machine they are using it with. The mouse is also extremely light, for what that’s worth, at only 74 grams. A mouse doesn’t weigh much in general, this one is still particularly light.
This mouse from Razer also includes a 20K DPI optical sensor, excellent for serious gamers that need the best of the best. This also means that there is no need for drilled holes, which is definitely a nice bonus for anyone looking for a good mouse. Further enhancing the speed of this mouse is the switches, which are significantly faster than typical mechanical variants thanks to light beam-based actuation. This registers button presses at speeds that cannot be matched by any other type of mechanization.
Finally, the mouse has a feature that most generally do these days, that being an ambidextrous design that makes it a comfortable, clean fit for individuals that are both right and left-handed. This design is achieved by easily reached, programmable buttons on both sides of the mouse, so an individual of either disposition can program the mouse to function as they need it to. As far as those programmable buttons are concerned, there are 8 of them available on this mouse.
All in all, it’s a financial investment that may set your wallet back by a little bit, but to be frank, if you have a dedicated gaming rig in the first place, you know how expensive it is to put the whole thing together. You’ve probably already spent a great deal of money on putting a gaming PC together, and this mouse is probably one of the cheaper aspects of the whole setup.
Either way, it’s a great choice if you have yet to settle on a gaming mouse for your rig, and it works especially well with other Razer products, though it can work with all sorts of equipment.
Deal Review: Seagate Game Drive For PS4: 2TB Portable HDD
Seagate Game Drive For PS4: 2TB Portable HDD Review
The PlayStation 5 is right around the corner: but it’s still a few months off yet, and some people don’t plan on getting one right away, or anytime soon at all. That being the case, there’s still plenty of reason to invest in a hard drive for your PS4 if you need one. This particular model is an officially licensed hard drive from Seagate that has 2TB of storage available.
There’s not really much to say about hard drives, seeing as how they only do one thing. The more games they can store, the better they are, and 2TB is a very hefty amount of storage. Your average AAA title is around 60 GB. There is 1000 GB in 1 TB, so this hard drive gives you an extra 2000 GB of space, or roughly 33 60 GB video games. Of course, that’s only assuming every game you put on the hard drive was 60 GB. Either way, 2TB is a lot of space and can give you access to far more game storage than your PS4 console can offer on its own.
You may think that such a level of storage would be expensive, but this hard drive is actually moderately affordable at approximately $90. That might not sound affordable, but when you consider how much storage space you are actually getting, it very much is.
The fact that the hard drive is licensed means it is designed to work well with the PlayStation 4: while most hard drives could be used with the PS4 anyway, there’s always the possibility of problems when you take systems not specifically designed for one another and put them together. To avoid that problem altogether, you can use a licensed hard drive like this one, which doesn’t cost anything extra anyway.
Moreover, you can still use this hard drive with other devices if you really want to, including your laptop. That means it has a great deal of versatility, which is of course a boon. For specifics, it uses USB 3.0, which is pretty common for most devices today. It has a quick step by step setup so you can start using it right away. It doesn’t need a power cable, and being small, you can easily carry it around if need be. Finally, there’s a three-year limited warranty for this device, so you can rest easy knowing that it’s not the end of the world is something happens to it.
All in all, this hard drive from Seagate is a reliable choice for anyone that needs a little extra space on their PlayStation 4. It’s very affordable for what you are getting out of it, is licensed by PlayStation itself, and can be used for multiple purposes if you need it. Taking all of those factors into careful consideration, there’s really no reason to forego acquiring one of these if you are lacking in PS4 storage space, even with the PS5 right around the corner.
Deal Review: BEBONCOOL Controller Battery Pack For Xbox
BEBONCOOL Controller Battery Pack For Xbox Review
When it comes to video game controllers, the way of the single-use battery has long past. They just aren’t the most effective means of powering technology, and moreover, they aren’t very cost-effective. Anyone who remembers the old days of wireless gaming knows how quickly the cost of batteries over time can grow to staggering proportions. And that’s why rechargeable batteries exist. If you want such a thing for your Xbox One controllers, this product is the way to go.
Basically, this product provides you with two battery packs designed specifically for Xbox One controllers, as well as a recharging station to keep them topped up. It’s a double boon, letting you power your controllers and provide a means to recharge them hundreds of times over throughout the years.
It’s worth noting that these are battery packs, not rechargeable individual batteries. This does mean you are limited to using them in your Xbox controllers, and you can’t use them anywhere else, such as a remote. However, being specifically designed for Xbox controllers, the packs fit perfectly into the rear of the controllers. It’s a small trade-off.
Of course, the value of batteries is all in two things: how long do they last, and how long does it take them to recharge? Well, these battery packs are exceptional on both fronts, with 25+ hours of battery life on a full charge giving you plenty of time to play before you need to recharge, especially if you can use both battery packs for yourself. In return, it only takes roughly two hours to completely charge these battery packs to a level where they can offer 25 hours of gameplay again.
However, these are the types of features you would generally expect to find in rechargeable battery stations. What you don’t usually get in a rechargeable battery station is multiple ways to actually charge your batteries. This particular product has 3, something that is very uncommon. It can support USB type-c charging, where you place the batteries directly into the charger, but also micro-USB and adapter charging as well. Whatever method you prefer or benefits you the most, you have available.
As a small note, it’s easy to tell when the batteries are done charging and when they aren’t thanks to LED lights on the front of the device that will be green when the batteries are fully charged or red when they are not.
Finally, this is a very cheap and affordable product at roughly $20, which is a great deal for two battery packs and a rechargeable battery station, especially when those two batteries have 25+ hours of life in a full charge and the station can charge them in three separate ways.
Other than that, there are no other features worth mentioning. However, just the ones that are present thus far should be more than enough to justify buying this charger if you need to power your Xbox game life for the nearby foreseeable future.
Deal Review: Nubwo U3 3.5mm Gaming Headset
Nubwo U3 3.5mm Gaming Headset Review
A good gaming headset completes a good gaming experience. Visuals are, after all, only half the enjoyment of high quality. Without good audio to go with it, your experience of the game isn’t as good as it could be, which is why investing in a good gaming headset can go a long way. Of course, there are a lot of good gaming headsets out there, but this time around we recommend this model from Nubwo.
We’ll start by saying that this headset is very affordable at $25 or below, but affordability doesn’t actually mean much if the features and quality aren’t there as well. Fortunately, this headset has plenty of quality to offer even at its low price.
First of all, it is universally compatible: you can use this headset with the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo 3DS, laptops, PCs, and mobile phones. So rather than having to search for specific headsets to match whatever technology you are using, this headset from Nubwo can work with all of them without any trouble.
Audio is, of course, one of the most important features in a headset, but the product doesn’t disappoint there either. The sound fidelity is clear and sharp, with deep bass that enhances the audio experience of any video game one is playing. Competitive gamers know how important this is: the ability to clearly hear what is going on in a game, whether it is the movement of enemies or the communication of one’s comrades, is extremely important to victory.
As for the microphone, it too has many features that make it useful. It’s very flexible, which makes it quite easy to position as needed around your face for clearest speaking quality. The angle can easily be adjusted to whatever position you require, and it is noise-canceling, which will help eliminate background noise that you don’t want getting in the way of your in-game communications.
For comfort, these headphones use soft, skin-friendly ear pads made of leather, and the headband is both adjustable and ergonomically designed. This makes the headphones comfortable to wear, even for long periods of time, which, as we all know, is something gamers generally get up to fairly often.
Finally, you have adjustable volume and mute control, which allows you to quickly and easily control the volume of both the game and the voices of other players in the game world. Needless to say, this can go a long way in making a gaming experience enjoyable, so it’s a nice feature to have.
All in all, this Nubwo gaming headset is not the most elite, most feature-packed headset on the market, but then again, not everyone needs something like that. If you just want an affordable headset that is reasonably high quality without having to break the bank, then this is a great product that can certainly fill the role. It has all the features one would expect from a typical gaming headset and it offers those features at a great price.
Deal Review: BEBONCOOL PS4 Controller Charger, USB Charging Station
BEBONCOOL PS4 Controller Charger, USB Charging Station Review
Charging stations are a great way to keep your controllers powered up, instead of having to rely on batteries, which will in the long run cost you much more money than rechargeable options. This particular model is for PlayStation 4 controllers, and it can charge those controllers from dead to full charge in approximately two hours, which is an extremely quick time frame.
This charging port, like many others, is able to charge two controllers at the same time, so it’s great for people that are used to co-op gameplay with their friends. With an LED charging indicator, it’s clear when your controllers are done charging: a green light will denote when your controllers are finished charging, so you don’t have to check manually.
This charging station also makes use of a USB port, so you can plug it into multiple different power sources, such as the console itself, your laptop, or the wall. It’s worth noting that a wall adapter is not included, but if you already have such a setup, then it is a valid tactic.
The product itself is very compact, making it relatively simple to store it in a place where it won’t cause unnecessary clutter, though this is admittedly a minor bonus. The final detail worth mentioning is a protector chip which will ensure that your controllers are not overcharged, which can cause damage to their long-term battery charge. Even if you have the controllers plugged in overnight or any other long period of time, the protector chip will keep the controllers safe from overcharging.
Not only does the protector chip do this, but it offers various other forms of protection as well: it offers over-current, over-charge, over-heating, and even short-circuit protection as well. All of this contributes to the safety of your controllers, making it a very wise and worthwhile investment.
Other than these features, this charging station doesn’t offer anything else particularly noteworthy. It is, however, quite affordable, being approximately $10 to acquire. This makes it a very cheap choice when it comes to securing a charging station for your controllers, without sacrificing any functionality. It’s also worth noting that this charging station connects to the bottom of the controllers, so if the micro USB ports on the top of the controllers have been damaged somehow, you can still charge them with this station.
All in all, this charging station is a great investment for anyone that owns a PS4, even if they only have one controller to charge. That being said, there’s no reason to forego one. Constantly purchasing batteries eventually cost a great deal of money, while using rechargeable means does not. With the extremely noteworthy protector chip keeping your controllers safe, it is money well spent, and more importantly, not a lot of money spent at that. Combining these various features with great affordability makes it one of our most recommended choices if you are looking for a PlayStation 4 charging station.
Deal Review: Oculus Quest All-in-One Gaming Headset – 128GB
Oculus Quest All-in-One Gaming Headset – 128GB Review
Virtual reality is slowly coming to the masses, particularly as far as video games are concerned. The main reason for that is mostly the hefty price of a VR headset, as there’s really no such thing as a cheap one. But, if you have the capital needed to take your first step into virtual reality gaming, the Oculus Quest All-in-One 128GB Gaming Headset is an excellent choice of product for you.
The product has many outstanding features that make it easy to use, but also very powerful for VR gameplay. For one, it’s ready to be used right out of the box, foregoing the need for complicated setup with no wires or anything of the sort. All that is needed to do that is the Oculus mobile app, which is available on many platforms. Further cementing the ergonomic simplicity of this device is the insight tracking: the headset can track and reflect your movements in virtual reality without relying on any other external accessories to make that happen, cutting down on how many products you need to buy.
For your hands, the Oculus touch controllers accurately track their movements and reflect their gestures and actions, providing a new depth of interactivity to a wide variety of games that some other setups can’t match. At the very least, you don’t have to buy external items to go along with the headset like you may have to with other products, which of course saves you money.
Finally, there’s the scope of the play environment. The Oculus Quest works in conjunction with your surroundings, meaning you can play your VR games without having to adjust your environment to accommodate the equipment. You can play the game standing, or sitting, or in spaces both small or large. This makes it much less of a hassle to use the headset than some of its contemporaries, so if you are completely new to VR gaming, it is an excellent product for introducing yourself to the world and how it all works.
Now admittedly, the product is expensive, coming in at approximately $689. However, this is not a mark against the Oculus Quest, as an expensive price tag is simply the norm for VR related headsets. You aren’t going to find such a product dirt cheap, and it is not as though the Oculus Quest is monumentally more expensive than its counterparts. Moreover, it pays to keep in mind that the Oculus Quest is an All-in-One product: as mentioned previously, it does everything you need to play with VR, which means you don’t have to spend money on outside accessories like you may have to with other products.
Finally, there is the most important thing to consider, seeing as how this product is almost identical to some of the other Oculus Quest gear we have reviewed on this site. The main difference in this one and the others is the 128GB of storage. Like all games, VR games are constantly growing in size. Some games are 13GB alone. So, the more storage you have, the more games you can have downloaded at once. This is the main contrast in the different types of Oculus Quest headsets.

Deal Review: Nintendo Switch With Gray Joy-Cons
Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy-Cons Review
There isn’t much to say about the Nintendo Switch that hasn’t been said before, but if you have yet to buy one, we’ll cover what you need to know about the handheld console powerhouse in this brief but informative review.
The Nintendo Switch is an innovative console that can play at home on a TV or on the road as a portable device. This is the main reason for its name, and also one of its major selling points. Instead of having to buy one or the other, buying a console that can be stationary or mobile means every bit of money you spend on the Switch can be worth it whether you are at home or on a trip.
The second most notable feature of the Switch is its controllers, called ‘Joy-Cons.’ These controllers can be attached to the screen that is the Switch, or removed from it and held in your hands, much like Wii remotes of the old days. You can also connect the Joy-Cons to different equipment (included in the purchase of a full-package Switch) to form a little controller of sorts. The point being, whatever way you are comfortable with in regards to holding your controllers, the Joy-Cons let you do that.
Moreover, the Joy-Cons can serve as a means for cooperative play as well. If you have only one Switch and a game that can be played couch co-op style, you can split the Joy-Cons between yourself and your partner, so you won’t have to buy a second controller like you would for other gaming consoles. The Joy-cons for this particular package are gray, but that is just aesthetic. There are options in different colors as well.
As for what types of games you can play on the Nintendo Switch, there are many games from across multiple consoles, such as Skyrim and Apex Legends. However, there are also many Nintendo exclusive titles and series, such as Fire Emblem, Mario, and Pokémon. Seeing as how these exclusive game series won’t be available on any other platform, if you would like to play them buying a Nintendo Switch is essential.
For the price you pay in getting a Switch, you get the console itself, two Joy-Cons, a charging station that doubles as the connection to your TV, an HDMI cable, a power cord, and an apparatus for connecting the Joy-Cons into a traditional controller configuration, as well as straps to put them around your wrists if need be. Considering all of that, you get quite a bit for the money that you pay.
Ultimately, the Nintendo Switch is a great investment because of its versatility in single or co-op play and its ability to be a stationary or mobile gaming system. On top of that, it has many exclusive titles and series that you won’t be able to play anywhere else. That said, there are plenty of reasons to buy a Switch, and not a whole lot of reasons to forego one, unless you just happen to be short on cash.

Deal Review: Ring Fit Adventure Game For Nintendo Switch
Ring Fit Adventure Game Review
With many people still spending more time indoors than they used to, the Nintendo Switch has been a sort of salvation for those that have it. Of particular note is the Ring Fit Adventure game by Nintendo, which sold out initially because people wanted a way to exercise while indoors. It has been remarkably well-received and is a great way to exercise while still having fun. With plenty of reason to stay inside, Ring Fit Adventure, much like Wii Sports of old, The Ring Fit Adventure allows players to experience a fun adventure world coupled with game mechanics that result in a workout. This game is a great way to stay fit and escape reality for just a little while.
Enhanced Virtual Exercise
The Ring Fit Adventure for the Nintendo Switch is a game that was released last year to introduce an adventurous world filled with work out related gameplay. The game includes a new Ring for the controller and a leg strap accessory to help with registering real-life movements. The ring accessory is connected to one of the Nintendo Switch controllers in order to record physical movements into the game. The leg strap is meant to register movement from the lower body to record movements like squats, lunges, and other exercises. This also allows for both controllers to be secure and not slip out of a player’s grasp during exercise, and it also ensures that you are in fact getting exercise, since you can’t really play the game on the couch.
Of course, a game about exercising alone would be pretty boring. Thankfully, the Ring Fit Adventure has some notable features that make it fun to stay fit. This fun-filled game includes an exciting fantasy world where the player can defeat enemies, unlock new levels, and exercise all in one. Gameplay includes jogging across grassy plains, mastering pottery, and charging health bars with yoga poses. The Ring Fit Adventure can be played alone or with friends and family members. Players can challenge others to customizable workouts. The game has an adventure mode where exercising allows players to defeat enemies and level up, and there’s even a wide selection of minigames, including the aforementioned pottery crafting and breaking boxes.
After being released on October 18th in 2019 the game has received astoundingly good reviews, being currently ranked number 2 for top Nintendo Switch games. The Ring Fit Adventure is also ranked number 19 in the top 100 of video games making it a best seller for Nintendo, even if those numbers are largely due to the COVID crisis.
Ring Fit Adventure Game Pricing
The Ring Fit Adventure is priced around $80 and rated for everyone 10 and up. Considering that this is one single game, this price admittedly sounds quite high, but the reason for that price is the many accessories that come with the game. The entire package includes two accessories that make gameplay easy and safe, the game itself, and one lithium-ion battery which is needed to use the aforementioned accessories. All in all, it’s a hefty investment, but a worthwhile one.

Deal Review: Runmus Gaming Headset
Runmus Gaming Headset Review
The Runmus Gaming Headset is an over the ear headset that’s compatible with the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. These noise-canceling headphones are equipped with a built-in mic, LED lights, bass surround sound, and soft memory earmuffs for comfort.
The over the ear design is preferred in most gaming setups thanks to its ability to muffle outside sounds and let you keep your focus on the game or the party. The headband is adjustable so that it fits comfortably on different sized heads while still being durable and made to last. The earmuffs are made of a soft material that is designed to avoid hurting the ears and prevent you from overheating even during long hours of gameplay. The adjustable frame also has soft material to avoid hurting the top of your head. Admittedly, the LED lights don’t serve any functional purpose, but they do provide a certain ambiance to the gaming environment. They charge via USB port.
The Runmus headset has a braided cord designed to last longer than the typical cord type you see in most products. Moreover, it is equipped with an audio jack and USB, making it more convenient for controlling the device. The cord is also about 2.2 meters long or 7.22 feet to limit the restrictions of a corded headset. On the cord of the headset, there is a controller that allows for easy audio control and a button to mute the mic. The mic is also adjustable and has a flexibility range in order to better capture the user’s voice. The mic has high-end noise isolating technology which prevents the audio from the headset from interfering with the user’s voice. The audio jack is 3.5 mm and for most platforms does not require an adaptor.
All in all, the Runmus Gaming headset is not particularly unique compared to other gaming headsets, but that’s not to say it is bad: only that it is one option that competes with the leading edge of gaming headsets.
The Runmus Gaming Headset comes in red, blue, and a gray pattern. The Runmus company also has models K11, K8, K1 RGB and K3. Each model has almost identical features including the LED lights, durable cables, flexible mics, and comfortable cushion and mesh designs. The differences are mainly the visual appeal of each set, like the style of the mics, headband and where the LED lights are displayed. The K1 RGB and K3 models display an array of colors with the LED light whereas the other models only display one color.
Runmus Gaming Headset Price
The Runmus Gaming Headset that’s compatible with multiple platforms is priced at around $38. All models are noise-canceling with built-in mics, LED lights, and a mute button. The gaming headset has received great reviews and the other models are within a similar price range and just as comfortable. Generally speaking, this is a pretty reasonable price as far as headsets are concerned.
Deal Review: PlayStation 4 Slim 1TB Console
PlayStation 4 Slim Review
The PlayStation 4 Slim is a thinner and lighter PS4 with a 1TB hard drive for a multitude of great games, TV, music and more. The PS4 has access to exclusive game titles like The Last of Us and Until Dawn. It also provides opportunities to connect with friends to play and chat online. With PlayStation Plus there is the added bonus of getting discounts on game titles and each month having access to two free games. The PlayStation app can also be downloaded to easily manage the console away from home. The PlayStation 4 Slim comes in the colors Jet Black, Glacier White, Gold, and Silver.
Because there’s very little difference in the PS4 Slim and the typical model, most of all the features are the same. That said, the PS4 has a vibrant HDR gaming display that showcases games and shows in excellent color and clarity. The PlayStation Store is where all the crowd favorite titles and some indie games can be located and purchased. Gamers can also share their play experience with friends if they have PlayStation Plus. PlayStation also allows gamers to manage their PS4 through their phone. With the PlayStation app, gamers can download games remotely, message friends, and keep up with scores. The system even allows for live streaming that can be shared in seconds to friends or just remain on a home feed to come back to later.
With PlayStation Plus, players are able to join and or invite friends to parties and play together or fight competitively. They can also get up to two free PS4 games each month and will receive discounts on other titles they may want to try. In addition to the other PS4 features, this console is also VR ready. The PS4 VR headset allows gamers to experience games in a new and exciting way by immersing themselves in the virtual world.
Of course, if you are wondering why to pick a PlayStation over an Xbox, other than personal preference it comes down to exclusive titles, which are games that are only available on a certain platform. Some very notable exclusives that can only be played on the PS4 include Marvel’s Spider-man, The Last of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn, the Uncharted series, Until Dawn, and many more.
Playstation 4 Slim Console Price
The PlayStation 4 Slim 1 TB Console is normally priced at around $350. It comes with 1 controller, a power cable, an HDMI cord, and a set of headphones. Admittedly, this is a bit expensive considering that the next generation of consoles is less than half a year away. However, half a year is still a fair amount of time, and if you would like to get your hands on a PlayStation right now, this is still a great deal. The main reason the price is so high is the terabyte of data, as many consoles come with only 500 GB or less, which is only enough space for 10-20 games, depending on the size of each.
Deal Review: Sony PlayStation Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller
Sony PlayStation DualShock Controller Review
There’s no game console in this world that doesn’t require a controller to use. Most of those consoles come with a controller when you first buy them, but eventually, those controllers may break or at least get somewhat damaged. On the other hand, maybe the single controller that came with the console isn’t enough for you, and you need a second one so you can play with your friends. Either way, buying a controller is something every gamer has to do eventually, and the DualShock 4 Wireless is the controller you would get if you are talking about a PlayStation 4.
It would make sense for anyone that is shopping for a PlayStation controller to already own one, which of course means there isn’t really all that much to discuss. But assuming that the customer may be looking for a second controller to go with a PlayStation they haven’t bought yet, we’ll still cover it a bit.
The DualShock 4 Wireless Controller for PlayStation 4 is designed to be comfortable in the hand and give gamers a greater sense of control. It’s the official controller option provided by Sony, meaning there’s absolutely no issue with compatibility between the controller itself and the console. This might not seem like much of a feature, but it’s worth noting that third-party controllers are more of a hassle to set up.
Other than that, the DualShock 4 can come in a variety of colors, including some special editions. This particular model is also wireless, like most modern controllers, so you can sit pretty far away from the PlayStation while still being able to play. However, this also means that the controller needs batteries or a rechargeable power pack, which are both sold separately. This is the only real con a wireless controller has over a wired one, which would be powered by its connection to the console.
All of that said, it’s your run of the mill controller, with all the aspects of one that you would expect. As said previously, the fact that it is the official controller from Sony means that it has all the bells and whistles they intended and is perfectly compatible, so if you aren’t that savvy regarding this kind of thing, you can’t go wrong buying this controller. It’s got everything you need with no shortcomings and no drawbacks, and it does all of that at a fairly good price.
DualShock wireless PlayStation 4 Controller Pricing
The DualShock wireless PlayStation 4 controller is priced at around 30 dollars and comes in a variety of colors to fit the aesthetic of any gamer. The price is down because the PlayStation 4 is, naturally, a bit old at this point, which means the controllers will soon be outdated. But that said, it is still the most modern controller for PlayStations right now, and it’s possible that the controller will be compatible with the PlayStation 5 in a few months as well, so this is still a very good price all things considered.
Deal Review: Logitech G920 Racing Wheel For Xbox One and Windows
Logitech G920 Racing Wheel Review
Racing games are fun on their own, whether one is using a keyboard or a controller. But why settle for that when you can use an actual racing wheel for the full experience? The Logitech G920 is one such racing wheel that is an excellent choice for racing game enthusiasts that want supreme immersion.
The Logitech G920 racing wheel has a dual-motor feedback driving force that simulates the real feel of driving in a car, pedals included. This racing wheel is compatible with the Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC, but there is a model available for the PS4 as well. While this configuration only includes the Wheel and pedals, gamers can amplify their racing experience by buying a shifter to go with it. For racing fans everywhere this racing wheel is the best way to experience any racing title and feel like you’re really flying down the track.
Durability and Comfort
The Logitech racing wheel is constructed with steel ball bearings and covered in leather to give the real feel and look of a racing wheel. The pedals are made of stainless steel and made to allow for easy control over throttle, brakes, and clutch. The D-pad and other console buttons are in a convenient, easy to access location to ensure gameplay isn’t cumbersome. The pedals are semi-automatic to provide smooth gear transitions for turns.
In order to provide realistic steering, the wheel has a 900 degrees lock-to-lock rotation. This allows players to turn the wheel two and a half times before stopping, just like in a real racecar. There is also a stripe on the wheel to show accurately which way the wheel is pointing. Dual-motor feedback provides the feel of tires on different types of terrain from smooth pavement to bumpy off-road tracks. To reduce noise and vibration there are also helical transmission gears in place. Players also have the peace of mind that they can drive without error due to the built-in clamps and screw mounting points. The wheel can be secured properly on a table or other racing rig so that fast turns don’t dislodge the entire system.
The pedals are responsive and adjustable to the liking of each player. The three pedals include the throttle, pressure-sensitive brake, and the clutch. With these three pedals, players can accelerate, brake, and change gears with ease and precision similar to that of a real racing car. Much like the wheel, the pedals come equipped with rubber feet and a retractable carpet grip set up that keeps them in place while in use.
Logitech also provides a G gaming driving force shifter that is compatible with the G29 and G920 racing wheels. The driving shifter further adds to the realism of a racing rig. The shifter is compatible with both the Xbox and PlayStation versions of the racing wheel and is priced at around $60. With a six-speed shifter and push-down reverse “H” pattern, shifting gears is made fast and easy. Just like the other racing rig items this item is also easy to mount and stay secure.
Logitech G920 Racing Wheel Price
The Logitech G920 racing wheel is in the price range of $370 -$390. This racing wheel includes a mountable controller racing wheel and pedals. The Logitech company has also made a realistic, mountable shifter which is priced at around $60 dollars and is compatible with the Xbox and PlayStation versions of the G920 racing wheel.
